Location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Times Square. Breakfast was chaotic and tables were hard to find. Staff were friendly but could be more attentive during busy times. Rooms were clean but lacked coffee making facilities. Overall, a decent stay.

Location is fantastic, just two blocks from Times Square. Breakfast has good variety but can get very busy with long queues. Rooms are clean but small, and the bathroom design lacks privacy due to the glass wall.

Location is amazing, just steps from shows and subways. The staff are friendly and helpful, making everything smooth for us.
It wasn't inexpensive, but it was still reasonable for what you get.

The elevator wait was insane—over 10 minutes each morning! Plus, the breakfast area felt cramped and chaotic, making it hard to enjoy the food. Not what I expected from a hotel of this caliber.

We hit up Broadway theaters and caught a game at Madison Square Garden. Buffet breakfast was bomb! Perfect location for us party animals.
Wish there was a more happening nightlife vibe within the hotel for us night owls! .

The room was cozy but clean, with a comfortable king-size bed and a spacious bathroom. Perfectly located just a block from the theater! Breakfast was a highlight—plenty of options, but be prepared for long lines and crowded tables. The staff was kind at times, but some interactions felt disconnected. A frustrating laundry mix-up added stress, especially with missing items. Late checkout fees were steep, and the service in the bar wasn’t welcoming. Despite the hitches, the stay had its enjoyable moments, especially the location and restful sleep. Adjust expectations, and you’ll find value here.

This hotel is just a few steps from Times Square and a short walk to amazing attractions like Broadway, the Museum of Modern Art, and Bryant Park, making it a wonderful spot for anyone who loves exploring the city on foot, plus the staff were pleasant and helpful while the breakfast was pretty good too; however, the room was quite cold and difficult to adjust.

The staff is genuinely helpful and friendly. The breakfast spread is impressive, with so many choices to fuel your day! Plus, the rooms are spotlessly clean and modern.
But be prepared to queue like you're at a concert just to eat.

It was surreal being footsteps away from the iconic performances. Immerse yourself in the vibrant energy of Madison Square Garden, catching thrilling games or events. The hotel's prime location made our family stay truly unforgettable.
My wife says that bunk beds would enhance family stay.

The room was modern and well-presented, providing a comfortable environment with good sheets on the bed. The temperature control was inconsistent; it took time to adjust. Showers had strong water pressure, but the glass wall design lacked privacy. Noise levels varied; some nights were disrupted by loud music from adjacent rooms. The hallway was quite plain, lacking personality. Elevators were crowded, especially during peak times. Housekeeping was thorough, but an unexpected intrusion at 5 PM was unsettling. Breakfast offered a diverse selection, making mornings enjoyable despite congestion.

Fantastic location with unparalleled access. The bar staff truly excelled—professional and attentive. Breakfast? Perfectly executed with a wide array of choices. Reception was consistently helpful, swiftly resolving a hairdryer issue. The room, however, was small. One towel? Ridiculous. The need to download an app for housekeeping is outdated. We experienced an upgrade to a suite—great, until it lacked air conditioning. The front desk response? Lacked urgency. The breakfast room, reminiscent of a busy cafeteria, felt cramped and chaotic, yet the food quality was commendable. Noise from the city is a given. It’s not a luxury retreat, but it remains a solid option worth considering for future stays.

Had a cozy Christmas stay with key locations nearby Times Square. Enjoyed a beautiful lobby and polite staff, making check-in a breeze. The breakfast, despite a small wait, offered plenty of choices and quality food.
A minor setback was the room's air conditioning not functioning, leading to a chilly night. Additionally, the elevators were a bit unreliable, causing delays.

Let's start with the positives. The location was amazing, right in the heart of NYC, making it super convenient to explore the city and catch shows like Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. The hotel itself was beautiful with lovely architecture and design. The room we stayed in was clean and well-maintained, which was a big plus. The bed was comfortable, and we enjoyed the view from our room. On the downside, there were a few issues that bothered us. The room was quite small, and the bed and pillows were not the most comfortable. It would have been nice to have a coffee/tea maker in the room. the bathroom glass wall facing the bedroom was a bit odd and not very private. We also had some interactions with not-so-friendly staff members, which was a bit disappointing. there were some issues with the amenities, like the air conditioning being too cold and difficult to control, and the promised high floor not being provided. our experience at the Riu Plaza was a mix of good and not-so-good moments. If you value convenience and a visually appealing stay, this hotel could work for you. if you prioritize room comfort and privacy, you might want to consider other options.

we had an amazing experience at riu plaza. the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and maps. the location was perfect for visiting times square and columbus circle. the grab-and-go option on the first floor was convenient, and the lobby was impressive. the beds and pillows were comfortable, the coffee at the coffee house was good, and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. we especially enjoyed the excellent view from our room at night.
Could not be improved in any way 🌟

The trains near the hotel can transport me effortlessly to trendy neighborhoods to explore. The hotel's surroundings offer iconic sites to visit, making my stay culturally rich. The services and amenities provided by the hotel ensure a comfortable and convenient experience.
Sadly, a card as a preferential guest didn't make me a celebrity.

the riu plaza was spotless, and the location was epic - walking distance to hells kitchen's nightlife. the staff gave us a mini bottle of cava for our anniversary - really sweet. loved seeing the city from the room, and breakfast was a win every morning with bagged up deliciousness.

Our stay at this hotel was outstanding. The location was ideal, just a short walk to Times Square and close to all the attractions in Manhattan. The staff were welcoming and always went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. The room was elegant and well-designed, with comfortable beds and a great view. The bar staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was delicious and plentiful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience during our Broadway visit.
Check-in took longer than expected and the lobby was more impressive than the rooms.

My recent stay at Riu Plaza was delightful, especially the amazing view from my room on the 20th floor. The breakfast buffet was impressive and offered a variety of tasty options. The staff at the Fashion Bar were very friendly and accommodating, making our evenings enjoyable. I'll recommend this hotel for sure.
